2011 eWorld Music Award Nominee Phenice Arielle performed at the world renowned Carnegie Hall as a young clarinetist at just the age of 13. Over the years, the talented young performer developed her artistry to write, arrange and often produce each song on her self-owned recording label (Make My Own Records).
After years of working in production at MTV Networks, the beautiful warm voiced singer became an ASCAP Songwriter & Composer Member, penning every single lyric she sings.
Such is the way with "Told Ya!," Phenice Arielle's 2012 follow-up to her 2011 award-nominated single, "Find My Way." The "Told Ya!" music video which currently airs on channels in South Africa and the United States, also boasts Phenice Arielle as writer, director, producer and story editor. Ms. Arielle describes the piece as a "mini-movie music video." "I love to write, tell and illustrate stories," Phenice Arielle explains. "I wanted the video to be an event, like a short movie; something people could both enjoy and relate to."
